..it's kind of poetic, in a sense. i will never be "sweet sixteen" again. the year of my youth has come and gone; and a huge peice of that year was the summer. the summer of your sixteenth year should be filled with lots of things...romance and adventure, laughter and tears, new friends & old. my summer was filled with all of those things, and more. there's no possible way that i could write about each memory individually...but the summer's highlights consist of the following...
+the orange county fair [and starship 2000]
+hume freaking lake [with all its bush diving fun]
+disneyland [the three or four times i went]
+"the park" [because i cant name all the parks i went to]
+my birthday [read the blog below]
+the pdym conference [and my first all-nighter]
,.
...and that's just a few. this summer came along with a lot of firsts, and a lot of lasts. i feel as though i did it all. to me, summer is about so much more than tan lines and sleeping in. it's about truely enjoying life and all of its freedoms. last night, i have to admit, i shed a tear or two as i looked back on the past three months, and realized it's really over...summer is really over. i loved this summer with all of my heart. it was only as amazing as it was because of the people in it, so thanks to all of you guys (hopefully you know who you are). i'm counting the days until next year. but until then...i bid you a fond farewell, summer; you will be terribly missed and reminisced upon often.

you are a great writer and blogger.
I think it was a great summer too. Too bad you had to miss the last night of summer extravaganza.
Next year for sure.
